If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, Mr. Brave man, I guess I'm a coward.

Yeah, that formula is there in most of the episodes, but it doesn't feel stilted. Every (well, almost) episode has a unique spin to it, and it's very entertaining. |

Um, no, it's way more complicated than that, its more like: Strange twist illness house doesnt care illness gets interesting house cares house diagnoses everyone says house is wrong looks like house is right house is wrong, and almost kills patient house abuses some people house re-diagnoses others are cautious, dont want to REALLY kill patient house is right the end |

^that isn't all episodes though. Sometimes he's right immediatly and it could look as though he is wrong and then you find out at the end that he was right. And sometimes it's like oreoman said: Strange Illness Either way it's still a pretty good show. I like prison break so much better but haven't had time to watch it, so I'm waiting till the second season comes out on DVD and I'm buying it and watching the whole 2nd season in one or two days (maybe three if I decide I want a break here and there). |

If you guys haven't noticed, nearly every show has a "formula."
Obviously, house is no differnt. For those of you who feel compelled to point this out in ever House inspired thread, I call you a tool. |

I just don't like the whole drama part of it. It should be more medical and
less personality conflict. |

I know! I thought the part of Dr. House was well played, but I could not shake the aggitation of when they felt the need to follow other, less interesting characters, in meaningless subplots. I am really kinda bummed I could not get into it. Everybody tells me "You need to watch this show" and when I finally did, it was not up to how people hyped it. I think if I watched it in a vaccum, from the very beginning, I would like it more. |
