I didn't get hammered this Christmas. I'll drink socially with friends, but about the only time my family does family drinking is New Years- which I won't be home for this year.

Mine doesn't either.

My dad's side has no booze what so ever at any parties.

For our christmas party on my mom's side this year my mom threw a case of rolling rock into the cooler so my brother and one of my cousins has our way with that. Nobody got drunk however.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

i tried to get drunk but everyone was drinking vodka and we ran out before anyone was anything more then buzzed...A&W root beer+vodka=greatness.
Canadians do it on top.

I think GG tastes a little too much like licorice. It's smooth, but it has an odd taste that I don't particularly enjoy.

My parents barely drink at all. My dad gets like a buzz and he's done,same with my mom.

     I never drink when I have to drive my wife and the girls about. Thou I do agree it's weird to get hammered with your folks. It's that Sienfeld's George rule about Relationship George can not co-exist with friendship george. It's two worlds I keep separate no matter how cool my folks are.

No one in my immediate family tries to drink very much. Mostly because our family has a long history of alcoholism, 2 of my uncles, my grandfather, and 4 of my great uncles on my dad’s side were all alcoholics and my great grandfather on my moms side was an alcoholic so yea, not too much for us.
