So, as you may or may not know, I just got a free Treo 700wx from
Sprint through a killer ebay deal. Well, the phone trocks. Windows
Mobile 5, nice camera, Qwerty, bluetooth....great.
Except....The bluetooth is a bit hamstrung. See, it is v1.2 but it isn't A2DP compatible. Sucks because I got some nice Motorola bluetooth stereo headphones and I can't use them to listen to music, only voice. I've gathered that I may be able to buy an adapter, something like this, and circumvent this little annoyance and be able to use the nifty headphones, at the expense of an extra bit of bulk on a somewhat bulky phone. My question to all you smart folks out there is, am I right? Also, are there any other options out there? I spent a couple of days looking for hacks but, so far, no one has been able to do it, even though the 750v has a2dp and it seems like they could move some reg files over and make it work. I know I could just use some wired headphones, but I haven't really found any really nice ones that spark my fancy, plus I'm a bluetooth fiend....Any help? |
