Who has had theirs removed? I just got it done today, and I must say all the fuss about it is over rated. I feel completely fine as if it didnt even happen. Right after I woke up from the surgery I couldnt walk and my face was numb, but after about an hour its like a normal day, minus the crunchy foods.

I am getting mine out the 15th.

I have one that is growing into the root of another molar, other than that I should be fine.

Mine are growing normally, so I'm not having it done. As for the hype, I'd imagine it has a lot to do with who performed the operation..

I was pretty much fine like 2-3 hours after the surgery. But I kept a lot of vicodin sp? in me so maybe I would have been in pain if I didn't have the drugs

Mine never caused a problem, but I know others that have been in massive pain depending on how many they had taken out.

I got mine out, came home, slept for a couple hours, woke up, ate some pasta, probably went back to sleep.

I took the percosets they gave me a couple times, but they didn't seem to do anything, so I didn't take them after that.

What do you mean "after I woke up"?? They put you to sleep?

I was awake for mine. Needed em out because they were turned and about to bust into my sinus cavity.

Never had to wake up, since I was awake for it. Bloodied up my shirt with red drool on the walk to the car. But otherwise was fine. Then I was mister chipmunk cheeks for a while.

But no real issues. It was heaven... before I had them out I was getting major headaches everyday, all the time (from the pressure on my sinus cavity).

I went in to have one, maybe two, taken out.

The dentist explained that this would be covered by my dental insurance, which included local anesthesia and a $600 copay(!).

If, on the other hand, I went ahead and took out all four, that would be considered a medical procedure, covered by my medical insurance, and would include full knock-out anesthesia and a $10 copay.

I have no wisdom teeth.
