Indie just refers to an artist that is independantly produced. (though I agree that indie as a "genre" is a really stupid concept) Edited by -ProDigY- - 28 November 2006 at 6:03pm |

Funky- How is David Bowie less known/popular?
Regardless, I think the world needs to listen to more Bowie. Also, another not exactly small band- Wilco Pick up Kicking Television, it rocks, ad is more accessible than their studio stuff. |

I'd say his recent work isn't as well known. His recent albums sound nothing like Ziggy did. Thus why I mentioned the albums. Edited by Funky - 28 November 2006 at 6:14pm |

Antony is this really androgynous singer (technically a man but she identifies as a woman) with a voice that will absolutely blow you away. You just can't believe that such a voice is coming out of such a person. http://youtube.com/ watch?v=ms91KrPN0Ss If that's too weird for you, you should probably download some Ryan Adams. If Prod posts videos, I post videos.
Westbound Train is a band I have been starting to get really into as of late. The lead singer has a great soul-singer style voice, with an amazing vibe. The band is a great combination of Roots-Reggae and Soul, with a good early Ska beat. Westbound Train - Please Forgive Me |

John Mayer...
He's not big at all around here. People know him for your body is a wonderland and waiting on the world to change, but his new cd is amazing. |
