buy an older motorcycle, like a honda 250 or somethin.  cheap to buy, cheap to drive, cheap to repair.

Pontiac sunbirds too,  cheap on gas although not sure if you will find one in your price range

Motorcycles and RWD aren't practical if you live in areas that receive a ton of snow like where I live.
