So, last night I went to sleep at 11pm.  As some of you know, woot.com puts up a new product at midnight.  So, I wake up at 7:30, and check my email at 8am to find an order confirmation from woot for today's product.  I sure didn't order it, and I don't think my gf would have ordered a 2.1 speaker system.  I'm not sure how it happened, and if someone does in fact have my credit card info... why would they waste it on woot.com's $30 speakers.  Plus, not only was it my CC, it was on my account on the site as well.

 

i'm confused.

most of it... but not enough where someone could just jump on that site and order something.

 

Plus, internet places are careful about shipping addresses, if they don't match up with the credit card company, no sale for you!

wow... ok... sorry for the double post, but it actually wasn't charged to my credit card at all... it was charged to my friend's paypal account...

why she used my woot account to do it... i don't know, but she works all day and she's gonna be surprised that her order is cancelled...

what i think happened, was that I signed in on her computer to buy something.  She wanted what was there today and clicked buy it, changed my credit card and shipping info to hers, and finished the transaction.  You'd think that she'd figure it out, when the shipping address says my name... but that's pretty typical of this girl. 

 

in fact, i hope it sells out before she gets home to order another one.
