Everyone knows that I am pretty much the local Spyder supporter here, and in browsing the kingman forums, I ran across a new Spyder prototype. This>Electra w/ eyes...

Woah...

I don't know how many have seen this yet, but I just figured I'd throw it out there.

Specs:

They are electromechanical (so no electropneumatic), so blow back.
They run at 200PSI with a new valve
There is a on/off
Eyes, of course
2 pieces barrel
And you can change color with body kit

The VS2 is with a normal frame
The VS3 with the rocking trigger Frame

I really think Kingman is working their way up into the world. Thoughts?

Nah. Raven's going under, I think. No one wants to spend $400 on a hyped Spyder.

Yeah I've seen it on a few website... They're going to release them... They're giving some away... I entered for one just for the hell of it... It's a 30 bps gun... I just like the rocker trigger....

They are. There is already "subliminal messaging" in their ad site, www.spyder.tv

If you look just below "products," it flashes "VS?".

I'm getting anctious. I hope it's affordable...

     ^^^ Thats the final product... You saw (like you said) the prototype... As you can tell they changed a few things...

EDIT: The final product looks like crap... The prototype was much better looking IMO...

Are you sure? I don't think it's the Electra. I'm pretty sure this is a new thing...

Yes it's the Electra... Supposivley its been out for a while, no one has really known about it I guess... You can tell AV dropped the price on it big time...

Actually, wouldn't it be possible that DeTrevni's pic is actually another marker? I mean, The one on ActionVillage does look like a regular Electra, but the other one looks really different.

EDIT: On second thought.. yeah it's possibly the same, if you think about it this way: They create the features on a prototype, and then add those features in one of the current models (Pilot, Fenix, Electra).

We'll see what comes up.

It does say VS3 on it... Not Electra like the regular Electra does....

I think this is the real deal. Go to www.spyder.tv and look under the word "products." VS? flashes under it a few seconds after it loads.

See?

This is wayyyy too elaborate for a simple Electra upgrade...

Some more news on it from PBnation. More pics too. I think it's gorgeous for a Spyder. If it pulls through at a good price, Kingman may have a serious winner in the mid-end range.
