Alright i just downloaded Photoshop 7.0 and i have no clue what i'm doing.

I'm trying to make a picture like the ipaint picture. Its the guy holding his paintball gun and listening to his ipod with the guy black background green and the ipod white.

I have no clue how do that so if anyone wants to help me that'd be great.

Play with filters. That's how I started out. There are some great tutorial sites.

No. Only PS newbs use filters like that.

check out www.worth1000.com they have wicked tutorials.

Some of my best pictures I only used 1 filter at most.  Filter whoring sucks.

I never use pen. Masks are a personal saviour. They save you so much trouble/ time. The most I use filters for is to add noise/ shadows, etc to make it fit the rest of the pic.
