I have tipp 98c, and my powertube seems to be leaking.. I'm going to send it out, to get replaced, but before i do id like to get some price ideas.  Does anyone know how much it should cost to get my powertube replaced? thx

don't get another stock one, the plastic is not very strong, get a DOP Proseal Aluminum one, much stronger and better.

ya get the pro seal one, its 40 bucks though, but i have it and it ROCKS!

I hate to say this cause I'm probably gonna look dumb. Are you sure it's your tube and not your valve.

well, it doesnt seem to becoming from where the valve goes in, but where the front of the tube is.

Yeah, when the valve is leaking, the hissing will come from the skinny end of the tube. Try attaching the air, cocking, and firing. You may also be low on air. If neither one of those is the case, it's probably one of the O-Rings in the valve itself. Bruce A. Frank has an awsome post on valve disassembly if your interested. It's like the last one on the topic.
