lmao i actually did that with my brother, except i used oregano (spelling?)my mom found it because he hid it in the best hiding place ever, his sock drawer.i got in so much crap but it was worth it (mom thought it was real too) the best part was i got to keep the 20

I'm toast. Ball rounds are just referring to the powder used. The military uses ball powder instead of stick powder because it burns faster and is more efficient over time. Stick powders tend to lose "punch" over time. As well as being a slower burning powder. Shotgun powders and cannon powders are stick powders. /endrant

Incorrect. 'Ball' in military parlance refers to any 'normal' FMJ round, not expanding. 'Ball' would be used as opposed to 'tracer', or 'armoured piercing', or 'jacketed hollowpoint'. So 'ball' is just a normal bullet. It has nothing to do with powder.
