and get either shut down or ignored in quick roder. But sometimes one
of the respected veteran members will post something equally inane and
turn it into a ten page epic thread.

Perfect example: Dave Ellis' "HEEEEEAAAD SHOULDERS KNEES AND TOES" thread.

nah, that ask mbro thing was pretty awesome, i dont know how long the other one was though, but still, that ask mbro thing was good....i never got an answer to a question....how do you quote more than one person in one reply?

You have to click on quote for the first person, and then hit "open in new window" or "open link in new tab" if you're using firefox(or middle click, which will also open the link in a new tab), then back on the original window, click the quote button for the person #2.
Copy and paste the quote from one post box into the other.

There's no neater way to do it that I know of.

Quot someone, reply, cut, go to another post, quote, reply, paste previous quote and reply, cut all of that reply, repeat as often as needed. Thats what I do

One of the most correct statements I've ever found....
Pneumatic Automag, x-valve, ULE trigger kit, Chimera frame, q loader, freak barrel system. Batteries are for the WEAK.

Or you can just use basic forum codes.

{quote=dude}whatever{/quote}, but with square brackets.

Yeah, but that requires typing four square brakets, one equal sign and one slash per quote. I have to actually look at my keyboard to type those, so therefore it's too much work

For serious.

Although the general maturity level has increased a little over the years as everyone became an adult.
