I want a good typewriter. My attempts at writing by hand degenerate into crabbed garbage after a page or so in one sitting.

I just enjoy typing random keys as fast as I can so I
can push the thingy back over and I keep on doing
that forever. Great stress reliever.

I couldn't live without my typewriters.

I've got an old vintage (1920's - wooden spacebar and all) typewriter that
was a birthday gift from my girlfriend and an IBM Selectric II for more
practical use.

There's nothing more satisfying than typing on a typewriter. It's so relaxing.   
After a bad day I just write and write and write and always feel better
afterwards.

Had one, but it died. It allowed you to save documents you typed if I remember correctly. Also had a correction button that worked flawlessly. Worked for a couple years, then took a crap one day.

I used to have one but it crapped out on me. It had that scent of hot glass fuses and warm metal. I would love to have another one. There's something about writing on a typewriter that's so much more appealing than a word processor.

Thats the kind I had before this one.

It sucked.

It locked up every fith stroke, and smeared ink with it's old fashioned ribbon.
