That's not the point of GOTM though. The GOTM has to be unique. While I would definitely agree that matrices and borgs are great guns, there's nothing unique about them. UNLESS you custom modded them. Ie, custom anno pattern, custom milling, etc. GOTM is more about cool factor. Because if you think about it, you can't judge performance by a picture.

I vote for no one.

its very easy to go out and buy a top of the line electro (not counting the financial issues) all you do you is either press order or go to your local shop, but to make a custom cocker you must understand how an autococker works, find the parts for it and then build it.

See, that works, until you get the guys like me who do know their stuff. I could build and tune a cocker for anyone, but i choose not to. I choose to shoot a DM5 cause i like it a lot more than any cocker. Same with mags.

The thing with this statement is, it is so easy to buy the parts for a cocker, slap them together and have an amazing looking gun, but that doesnt mean it works great. If you have an idiot timing it, you will have a piece of garbage to play with. The other thing is, it is not hard to set up a cocker. People think "OMG Cocker, difficult high end gun to maintain!" This is 100% not true. Get quality parts, set it up nice and itll shoot amazing forever as long as you keep it clean and lubed.

Anywho, just stating my opinion. Dont hate cause i have an expensive gun... and know how to use it...

I agree with  niq.

Almost every gun on there is not truely customized. The karni, system X cocker and scout's mag aren't custom.
Sly's cocker might be, but Im have no idea.
And warbreak's has a lot of internal work done.
Other then that, I dont see you guys standing over a mill machine making the body, trigger frame and other parts from a block of aluminium. So your "these guns are truly custom" agruement doesn't work.

That's true. There are different levels of custom. Ours are obviously a lot lower than something Doc Nickle could pull off, but last time I checked an airsmith didn't enter there stuff there. Nor did anyone else with a mill. That doesn't mean our stuff isn't custom or unique. That's what matters for GOTM, uniqueness. Anyone can go out and buy a stock DM5. A gun that is truly one of a kind and has something unique about it, that's special.

but then they could take that dm5 and put a new bolt kit in it, a new board, new regs, throw in some swapped color parts, and ul frame it.

Err, i have access to 2 really freaking nice machine shops, and i know how to work the machines, but i dont want to take a mill to my DM5 body cause i like it the way it is. Precision is really easy to get if youre not a moron with these machines. Why would it not fire if all i did was change the design of the body? Take the shocktech dm's for example, they can be pretty much reproduced (not exactly) with a mill and some different bits.

Cocker, does NOT cost thousands of dollars. All those parts new cost maybe a grand if youre an idiot and buy from high priced proshops. And contacting custom shops for bodies/parts? No way... I dunno whos cocker youre talking about, but diedonimpact's is a freeflow body and can be bought basically anywhere, and Sly's is a Works cocker. diedonimpact's does not have custom parts, it has aftermarket parts. There is a huge difference. I could build the same cocker as his for about $300 if i were to buy the parts used.

And he was DENIED from a school for being too smart? Yeah, uh huh, i believe it. Besides, its georgia, doesnt take much to be the smartest redneck in that state.

Theres only one board out for the UL frame at the moment (maybe 2 if tadao made one already). And i need an evolve kit, but i wouldnt get the hybrid bolt guide, it looks like garbage. And why would you need new regs? The hyper 2 and LPR are already great... And swapped color parts is a matter of opinion... I should send mine to anno to have the UL frame matched.
