The movie you download from itunes should be in the format which your ipod is capable of reading. So just send the video to your ipod.

Could you put the DVD on a windows media player and then preform a sync. That is when you download content on to something like an Ipod.

You use Magic DVD Ripper to rip a DVD into an AVI file.
Then you use Videora Ipod Converter to turn it into an Mpeg4 file that the iPod can read. Then import into iTunes, put on ipod. I'm pretty sure this is legal, cause you're just backing up your movies  , and both programs are free.If you want to download the DVD, then I'm pretty sure you're gonna have to use some illegal Torrent or p2p thingy. i still love the fact you guys have to convert files twice... my vision accepts avi's so i can just throw dl'ed files straight on the player or i only convert a movie once.
