Yeah, because it's really nice going to other countries and not being able to estimate distance and not having any freaking clue how hot or cold it is out. On another note, kudos to the states for not using the freaking 24 hour clock system. It's like.... It's dark out... I know it's not ten in the morning. I still measure things roughly with "feet" but if I were in a science or math class, I'll use metric. Foot is just a good rough size. The closest thing metric has is like, a decameter.

The only reason I like the metric system is that is completly convertabe. The metric system need some sort of measurement that is near to a foot. |
