I wear whatever skate shoes happen to be on my feet when I playing. The only reason it is skate shoes is because they are comfortable.

They have been through everything. Calf high mud, waist high water with a couple inches of mud at the bottom are the two worst. They have also been through snow.

I have yet to have any indoor problems with them, but I have lost one pair to the mud during a big game. Good thing I brought back up.

Que pasa?

That's one pair out of 8 different big games. The big games are where I get in the mud up to my knees to flank, it's necessary with 400 person teams.

1 pair, 8 games. I think I am doing good.

Que pasa?

Hey merc: http://www.quanticoboot.com/detail.asp?product_id=ci-40501

You could give those a try. The only thing I can think of that I personally might find wrong with them is that I think they have a different tread than my ICBs, plus since they're hot weather I assume they have the vents. Also, if you need protection of steel toe boots, have you ever tried the non-metallic protective toes? I'm not sure if it's kevlar, fiberglass or what but it'd be nice to have something that doesn't conduct cold in the winter. Anyway, that style boot seems to hold up pretty well, I think I saw one pair out of about 90 give out after two months of marching and driving your heels pretty darn hard all the time everywhere you went.
