I play woodsball with a drop. Nobody hates on my drop. If anything, it's the speedballers that hate drops these days. Tournament speedball has mostly gone away from drop forwards. |

I personally don't like drop forwards, because I use the tank to help me control the gun. Plus, when I had a drop, it seemed to throw the weight distribution way off, but maybe that was just the one I had.

i bailed the on-tank stuff anyway. i now use a remote coil. works great for improving feel of the gun. |

I used a remote once, but I kept getting the cord tangled up, so I just threw it in my closet and deal with the extra 2 lbs. that my tank adds. The remote was nice though.

I built my own drop. I love it and think it's much improved over not having one at all. I pretty much only play woodsball, too. Go figure...

I didn't know woodsballers hate dropfowards, I know in speedball dropfowards usually give you bad shooting posture and make your elbow stick out, and they are just plain uncomfortable compared to a unimount IMO.

Well a remote is nice to have in woodsball and you can run it through your shirt if it gets tangled alot and a drop forward is pointless with a remote..though i personally dont like drops anyways just uncomfortable

And for good reasons. As much of a personal preference it is, its better to not have a drop forward. |
