I really really doubt it. If this is the one I saw in Pop mech awhile back, then it doesnt even have a harddrive. It uses a Linux based OS on RAM. |

It's for the kids of the world who have never seen a computer, let alone know what a cd drive is.
It used flash memory. Also, this thing is so underpowered, it isn't anything that any of you would want or be seen carrying it around.

I think that's cool. There are so many people that haven't even seen a
computer in the world, it doesn't have to be fast or anything great for
them to appreciate it. Don't say it's lame. Too many of us take for
granted that we have easy access to good computers and technology in
North America.

Crappy thing is, if basically any of the world's rich folks would get a sense of charity or "global community" these every kid on earth could prolly have a laptop WITH a cd burner AND a battery....Not to mention food and clean water...but thats another thing... |
