Yeah, ok, you saw a white figure fly across a lake and down a hill?

Are you sure it wasn't an egret or something?

That is a slap across my face Cedric....

Dont worry if you stay in my corner, Ill have you back to not believing in no time...at least until the rapture, then it will be too late for you to repent and be saved.

i went to a retreat, it was more or less the same exact thing you explained. when the part happened with the "Face of God in the room" all the girls were crying and literally 15-20 people passed out, one kid even had a seizure and started bleeding profusely from his nose, it was scary.
-edit- hey, out of curiosity, what does everyone think happens after death? i'm torn between thinking it just ends, and you just stop, or whether you stay on earth as a different form of life. not exactly reincarnation, but more as a ghost. (i don't mean to threadjack, so don't reply if you think that's what it is)

It's never to late for that (so says the bible) That's why I'm going for a life of blasphamy and sin followed by a deathbed repentence.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Sweet, just like Hitler and Tim McVeigh? Sounds like a plan.

Pretty good plan, but it could backfire if you don't get sufficient warning...

Wow. Catholics speaking in tounges? Interesting indeed! Around here its frowned upon. But im very happy for you cedric. My experiences with church retretes and church led summer camps have always been wonderful. I have a lot of very fond memories, and yes, i got into the singing and such, you just get caught up in the fellowship of it all, in my mind, this is the heart of the Christian Faith, or, it should be at any rate.

I personally don't understand why you can't just die and DIE.. Not die and go to a magic place in the sky and kick back with a 2000something year old man..
I need a new Sig...

I'm willing to take that risk. I'd say all of the vice and sin is just too much to pass up for "total coverage" for something that more than likely doesn't exist.

it cuts in quite a bit. going to homeless shelters and church all the time; say good bye to the majority of your weekend.

You're thinking of the christians that annoy me.

And I disagree with some things in the Church.

Hahaha! I think I would have been a sleeper.

So before your Jesus sighting, how much earlier had you eaten a meal? Also when you were kneeling in one place for a long period of time, were you allowed any breaks. Maybe your body wasnt happy being in one place for a long time in an unnatural position and lack of food and water made you see things.

Kinda like a head rush when you stand up too quickly...

I actually went to lied down and closed my eyes during the session. I also had a big meal after that and before I saw the ghost thing. After the dinner, we had about 5 hours of free time.

I have stuff like that happen a lot. Ive seen some pretty tripped out things, but we figured out what it was and fixed a couple wrongs. The one thing i cant explain is the woman i saw in the sanctuary one night. Scared me half to death.
