Tippmann engineers designed the gun, and they put valve bolts in there because during intense firing it will move. The vibration from recoil will cause the valve to shake- not like a earthquake, but a small enough amount to cause problems. Your rear bolt HAD trouble sliding back into the powertube once it began to vibrate. You just kept shooting it until the bolt deformed the powertube for it to fit.

Your gun is a mechanical device- there is no magical reason it liked the stock internals, it was because it was adjusted and worn to work with one bolt.

How would the powertube shake? It's wedged tightly between the reciever halves and is held in place by my valve(and VA).

Your explanatoin makes no sense.

How would it not shake? The bolt blowing back from inside the poertube, the front bolt being pulls forward so fast, inertia...

why fight about this? if he wants to be thick headed and leave his bolts out let him. after all it's his gun he's going to ruin.

The whole gun might shake, but that would make everything inside it shake, so it wouldn't matter.
