You are more likely to cut yourself with a dull razor.

I use a straight razor when I want a close shave. They can be used every other day, so if you wanted to shave every day with one you should have two. They last a loooong time. It's not as scary as people think. In fact, I have a much better track record with a straight razor than I do a safety razor. Any tiny nicks you get can be sealed right up with a splash of cool water at the end. I've got the strop, the razor, Burt's Bees Bay Rum shaving soap, and a cheap shaving soap brush. I'm practically set for life.

For speed's sake I often just use a trimmer and leave myself with a small scruff.

My razor.

My strop.

i hate the mach 3 it always cut my face up bad...
i was using extreme 3 or something and had to change the blade about every 2 weeks (if i shave more than once a week its rare)

my gf got me a reflex so i use that now... it takes much longer than a blade and its not quite as close and i need to buzz it when it gets longer but...well shiz... some times its close and i can dry shave... it works great if i run a blade over after

You should really give it a try. It's cost-effective again safety razors in the long run, and it's really not dangerous. Like I said, I have fewer cuts with a straight razor than I do a safety.

I use saftey razors, the three blade disposables, and in all honesty I use one every other day for about 3 weeks. I only toss it when 1. I cant use it without bleeding everywhere, or 2. the gel strip wears away.

Hey, nice marmot!

Yeah, thats not good. How can you shave with a disposable. i didnt shave for a week and a half once, it took me like 15 minutes. I could shave for like and inch, then i had to get the hair off the razor. Took me a while.
