Apparenty you don't have a car

The backseat of my car is covered with cigarette ash. My buddy puked in
the front seat, but he's still alive. Of course I made him clean it while he
was still hung over.

I'm not too positive on how good of "friends" these two were first of all.  Second of all, you were not drunk, with a gun under your seat.

Like so many others, that person did not deserve to carry a weapon.

This is why allowing people to carry firearms is bad.

Good points. I'd like to think that if I did have access to a gun (which I
have authorization for but choose not to) I would have the good sense to
demonstrate common sense with it, under all circumstances.

Hey!

Yeah...I know a few murderers myself...not exactly REAL close to them but still know them well none the less.

Most of them are racist rednecks who have an insane weaponry arsenal and unless you know them...you best not talk to them.

This one guy...we call Skeet...has the finger of a black guy he beat to death in a jar of formeldahide(sp?).

It's pretty shocking to just see something like that lying around someone's house.

And my girlfriend's dad hired a hitman to kill the guy that raped one of his other daughters.

So needless to say...I'm very careful with what I do and say around him...and to those of you who know of my little "situation"(which is still ongoing), yeah...the last thing I want is for him to find out about that.

It's ironic that when we roll through the inner city most cops feel relatively safe but are still cautious, so they might be extra watchful. However, on normal traffic stops, cops flip the thumb latch off their holsters to be able to pull out their weapon quicker. Most of these stops occur in regular white neighborhoods too. The reason: most cops get shot because of people who do not want to be pulled over and given a ticket. It gets scary sometimes.

Where are you from, crazy land? I think the weirdest thing about your
whole situation is that you know a guy named Skeet.

That's why people with guns should keep them locked up at home.

I sincerely doubt that anyone involved in the situation doesn't regret what happened. That's why no one should be keepin' their gun in their car(obviously, cops on duty should be exempt, but when they're off duty, they really shouldn't have one in their personal car).

Personally, I plan on owning guns once I'm legally allowed to-but they're going to stay in a nice, inch-and-a-half thick steel gun locker in my house. Drinking+guns=really bad crap. I've seen guys shoot themselves while shooting pistols and being drunk-just stupid.

I wish your friend good luck, 'cause if he ever gets out of jail, he's gonna' have a hard life. Condolences to the kid who died and his family too-pretty messed up that someone's life can be ended over a cig' just because the kid was drunk(I'm betting he was...). Just another reason not to smoke.

I was not at all surprised when I saw that Hysteria started this thread...

No.  He did not want to say the guy's name.  This is why he said "This one guy...we call Skeet..."

I wish I had an arsenal...soon my friends, soon.

The fact that you have a friend you "call Skeet"() is kinda wierd...Skeet as in skeet...as in shotgun? I'm just wondering what you "use him for".

Please ignore the fact that the above 2 sentences make no sense...

No-that's why allowing people who drink regularly to carry firearms is bad. Too bad we can't do anything about that. As far as the guy's friend-if the story in the newspaper is true, then he deserves whatever punishment he gets. Drinking is no excuse. If I had a family member (that I liked) who was murdered by someone over a cigarette, I'd find them and make them wish they hadn't done that. Simple. If something different happened he needs to get the real story out before they stick him with a really long prison sentence. I like to carry a gun-not because I'm a redneck, but because there are some really messed up people out there. It's a shame we have to, but if gun control advocates have their way, the only people with guns will be the ones that don't need them. If you ban guns, then the only people without them will be the law-abiding people out there, and the only people with them obviously will be the ones that don't.

Some people would say we need more gun control. Unfortunately, gun
control doesn't really help. Those that buy their guns illegally aren't really
subject to gun-control until they are caught, usually too late. What about
those kids that take their parents legally purchased and properly stored
guns? Unfortunately, most kids aren't stupid and can figure out how to
get around gun locks and gun safes with ease. So what is a solution?
Stiffer penalties? People still murder when there is an active death
penalty. Plus, that could mean more for our already overcrowded jails and
prisons. Build more jails? people don't want more jails, especially not near
their homes. The cycle never ends, to every solution, there are ten
problems that pop up.

Hurray!!! Another person up for the death penalty. When are they going to start showing executions on pay per view?

I hope those 6 beers was worth a very long time in prison.
