i have another question. The all american is a two piece barrel and i was wondering, if i buy the back of the barrel and then i buy the front and the description of the front says 12 inch does that mean that the front of the barrel is 12 inches plus the back or is it 12 inches all together (back and front)

The latter. The fronts are listed for the length they will make the entire barrel, not their own length.
