Putting your head in the sand isn't going to make homosexuality go away. Your kids will be exposed to it, no matter what you do. But making them think less of the person because you sheltered them from it is just being rediculous. It's like saying "I don't want my kids playing with black children because they might turn black later". Being around homosexual people won't make you homosexual!

You can't be serious. This is discrimination at its best. |

Why doesn't this surprise me? Get the right self-righteous person with an idea in his head, and you'll have another Aslem witch hunt.
Luckily, Most of the other legislators had the sense not to show up the day of the vote. That is about as close to voting no that you could have gotten away with in this state. |

Just because you believe something is wrong, it doesn't make it right. We all grew up believing in santa, but that doesn't make him real. |

He's referring to the fact that they want to remove any book written by someone who is homosexual, regardless of what the book is about. Just like during the 1800's when women weren't allowed to be published. Are you saying that its ok to ban a Biography on Abe Lincoln because it was written by a homosexual? |

No it may not make you homosexual but the point of the matter simply is, The lifestyle of homosexuals is against all religions and it's not something people need to hear about. It's simply like this man + man= STD's and more threads like this man + woman= procreation (children) thats how it works and nothing is going to change it. A few of my friends are homosexual and im okay with that as long as they dont try to "convert" me. It's okay but seriously its frowned upon to like men. |

^^^^^^ While that is another example of an idiot argument "against" homosexuality, it is also irrelevant to this law. Even if homosexuality were "bad" or sinful, that would not make this bill any less unconstitutional. |

Stop posting crap like this. Men and women are perfectly capable of spreading STDs. |

You have a much greater chance of getting a STD from a woman than you do a man since you dont like men.
So it is okay for Christians to covert others but not homosexuals? Isnt that a double standard? Here is another interesting article: Air Force probes religious bias charges at academy |

Double standard or not. Its wrong to try and convert small children to an un-natural life style
I dont think they are trying to convert anyone. Its just ignorance and discrimination here. |

And believing in a man the lives in a cloud that gives people want they wish for if they pray to him isnt a unnatural lifestyle?
That is much more harmful than allowing people to feel confortable with themselves, and who are you to judge if it isnt natural? Edited by Hades |
