Reb’s New Language policy.

Reb people are telling you to enforce your rules. I dunno if you are or are not. But try searching for "**Edited**" There are still people cursing despite your little thread thingy. I dont care either way, but its just a thoght.

I wasnt trying to not cut him slack, im hearing a lot of grumbling about him not enforcing it. I for one dont care.

But what you or I may interpret as a cuss word, another may not.

A clarification of what can and cannot be said would be nice.....especially those in the "grey" area. We all know certain 4 letter words that cannot be spoken, but there are many that are allowed on prime time TV which would have gotten me in trouble at school or home.

I don't need a strike b/c an almighty mod deemed a word I used to be vulgar, when in fact you can hear it on prime time TV. An example would be the word "B1tch". That can be used on TV, but here you get an "**edited**" mark.

The last thing this forum needs is another rule.

Let the filter do its job? Good lord, there are so many people "cussing" and nothing is happening. We dont know what we can say and what we can, some things are edited, others are not.. Why should we get a strike if we dont know what is strikable?

This is why all those pages were deleted in the first place.

People on this forum are incapable of getting a thread to the second page without hijacking it and turning it into a flame war.

Remember folks, Profanity is a crutch for ignorant people. I for one happen to fall into the "ignorant people" category, but if i'm going to use this forum I try to have the common courtesy to not use profanity. It's simple, everyone knows the seven little words that shouldn't be said here. Also just because you replace an A with @ or SS with $$ it doesnt mean you didn't cuss. So don't use symbols, dont skip letters i.e. "B U T T", and dont use common acronyms that represent profanity. Yes the rule about using acronyms is a little over the top and I for one disagree with it, but hey Posting here is not a right its a priveledge. If we don't follow the mods' rules we deserve the strikes.
