98C shooting bad

   ok, im fairly new but i know the basics. When i get my gun hooked up, air and all, i get out onto the feild and shoot, like 5 balls come out at a time, but only go 10 feet or so. My friend said something about getting a new ball latch. But i have a lot of splatter lately and these are the first times i have ever broke paint in my 98. So is a new latch all i need to get? Or could something else be wrong. Thanks

	well if 5 balls come out at a time it sounds like ur ball detent is screwed up. Open the latch and look inside your gun if you see a little orange thing in their then the ball deten is fine , if it is not their that could be the problem. if it is not that i would just bring it to your local shop and let them check it out.
