I caught the comertial last night while watching 'Currahee' last night as well. Its good to see so many history channel enthusiasts. Anyway, I wasnt fond of Windtalkers. Nicholas Cage made a bad marine. Tormented or not, he wasnt at the top of his game. I like some of the other stuff he's done, but this doesnt make the list. |

No way. Imagine the inrush of "snipers" to the forum after watching something like that. The biggest "sniper" rushes come after Enemy at the Gates is played on a basic cable channel, or the History Channel has a special on snipers. |

All Quiet on the Western Front is about WW1 not WW2. But you are right not all Germans wanted to kill Jews. |

Yeah, not a bad movie at all. It is strange to watch from the German perspective. I actually feel bad for them. It made me realize that not all Germans wanted to kill Jews. |

I like the book. I may read it again.
It is is kind of weird to read now though, because I can't picture anything myself. I just picture the series characters. |

"All Quiet on the Western Front" was rather good as
well. It's from the German perspective, but you tend to forget that throughout the movie. If you haven't seen it, check it out, it won some awards back in the day. |

I didn't think it was that bad. John Woo did some things that should have been done differently. And Enemy at the Gates was a good movie because we got to see it from a perspective besides the British or Americans.
