Something new could be anything, including a new barrel plug.

But... if you guys want comments from the tippmanns, here's a quote from Dave Tippmann he made on a forum where he was purchasing SMG-68's for a display at their new west coast facility:

Quote Unfortunatly we're not going to reissue the Smg's although in my personal opinion I would love to do it. But trust me guys we are working on something new that we havent done before. Since we sold the company it might take a little longer to come out but we are always looking to do something new and different.

So I would be thinking a sidearm? Or a speedball gun? Maybe

i disagree CIA, i think tippmann will stay with there woodsballish markers. itll probly be something like the a-5 with a removable cyclone and some other cool feature(new front grip maybe?)

i think they should go light and fast. a change in the a-5 would be cool but it would still be an a-5. i say something speedball.

it says "Scenario" so its most likely like a M-16 wannabe type thing.

too bad JCS's site doesn't say "Tippmann" anywhere on it.

It could be about anything...

Heck JCS could be making a marker, and that's what that page is about, ever think of that?

Well that ruined it for me. JCS says scenario and that is just the same as all the other Tippmann guns right now. I guess they should stick with whats working but it would be nice if they made a speedball gun.
Current Setup:
Tippmann A-5
Response Trigger
Progressive Barrel
Richochet R5 Hopper
Palmer Male Reg.
Double Trigger

People still dont understand....Tippmann is known fer having "the best" rec/woodsball and scenario markers in the industry and there would be no reason fer them to create a new speedball marker.

true there are so many other companys already making speedball guns why jump into that shark tank when u already have the best woods/rec guns on the maket. i really dont care what it is b/c i cant buy paint and air for my 98c right now. but yes a speedball gun would be cool but i dont think that it will happen this year.

^^^ Agreed^^^ Breaking into a whole new sector of the market after the company being sold would be risky at best. Especially going head to head with some of the other companies that are out there with a electro speedball gun. Tippmann knows their niche and how to keep it. Look for a evolution or revolution in a woods/senario gun.
