Why would you buy a new gun over a small leak?

First, you will only loose a few shots a minute with a small leak, it is worth buying a new gun over a few shots a minute?

Oil you o-rings and do some basic maintenance and the leak should go away. Have you tried fireing 10-20 shots and seeing if it goes away, sometimes they do in my friends case.
