Ok i was watching some pball videos today and i saw players with full finger gloves but on their index and middle finger, the glove was cut not wher the knuckle is, but the next joint down so they could walk the trigger without the hassle of the glove getting in the way. are they buying their gloves like this? or cutting them?

cutting them. Most newer gloves come with seams right under the knuckle so they can be cut with minimal tearing or loose threads.

They do make gloves like that, but cutting them is probably easier. Just use pinking shears as not to fray the ends. Pinking shears are zig-zagged. Buy crummy gloves to try this with.
