Ive been interested in mac's lately, but im a gamer so i prefer PC (IE Windows).  Seeing as it is a more common platform.
The desire for polyester is just to powerful.

Depends on what you are doing. Pc's are obviously better in the games category for variety of games and better graphics cards (also more). But the Macs are supposed to excel in video editing.
