Yeah , thats WAAAYYY too long . Cut the lenth of the barrel and the pressure chamber in half , then use a couple of 90* fittings to run the chamber under the barrel .

just pvc, a air stem (like you find on a bike tire), and thats it. Its really easy to make. I built this one in about an hour.
