The only reason why I said its about 10 bucks an hour in Cali is because of the high cost of living in California.

I wish I could find a house in So Cal for 100k, the best deal I could find in my area was 325k, then you add the property tax and so forth, maybe I should move to TJ and commute across the border every morning.
For I will wander to and fro,
I'll go where I no one do know,

its 6.75 and the housing is really expensive, in my area (the greenhaven-pocket area of sacramento) average houses are about 400,000-550,000, but the gates community homes are all at 750,000-1,200,000

Dead-sure it's $5.15 in Missouri. This is also the minimum Federal wage- stately wages can go higher, but not lower (tips is an exception- waiters/resses can make 3.00 plus tips).

Housing- I draw houses in O'Fallon, Missouri (high land cost) and a 1 acre lot goes for 28,000 to 45,000 depending on which subdivision I'm drawing for. Our houses have a 120,000-130,000 building cost, plus 30% percent profit margin/ call-back margin. We allow customers to customize the houses with 3 on-staff CAD Operators with Architectrual training, which can climax the cost of construction up to 170,000. Our houses have a sale price of 200,000 to 350,000. We're located 30 miles West & slightly Northwest of St.Louis, MO.

I do the drafting and the budgetting.
