Yes, X-Ball and speedball is similar.
Think of it this way, all x-ball is speedball, but not all speedball is x-ball. X-Ball is speedball with slightly different rules. The field layout is the same in every x-ball game, whereas speedball fields are different from area to area. The biggest difference is in x-ball you play for a set amount of time, instead of playing until an objective is reached. In x-ball, if you hang the flag, the time stops, the flag is put back, teams go to the starting area, and they start the time again and go. BTW, everyone who says speedball is a waste is ignorant, everyone who says woodsball is dumb is ignorant as well. |

I've played with my Centerfeed E-bolt 98, an X Mag, and an Impulse. It did not change the quantity of paintballs by much.
You're right! Sorry, I got that mixed up. In the immortal words of Willie Wonka: "Scratch that, reverse it!" Edited by Greg Smith |

I've seen people waste paint in the woods just the same. There is something exhilerating about playing when there are hundreds of balls flying all around. |
