I never use the sights on the 98c Flatline, I use my own eyes.

I found that I was not able to get the distance out of
the A-5 flatline that I could out of the 98 flatline. I also
like being able to drop the hopper and run a pull thru
through the 98 flatline w/o having to remove the
barrel. Inorder to clean my A-5 flatline I have to keep
the front screws loose so I can pull the barrel off to
clean it.
Are you serious dude there are squeeges that work for the a5 flatline.  you dont have to take your barrel off dont make it hard on your self.  the squeege costs like 12 bucks save you time man.
98 custom= $134
Flatty= $117
Remoteline= $34
hopper= $5
20oz co2= $23

I don't use the sights either but I would rather have the original sites than those cheap ones that look bad. The 98's shroud wobbles too. I don't know about the A-5's. All I know about the A-5's is it looks better... But everyone has different opinions.

I don't know much about it but I do know that it looks better,  but if you like the rifle grip obviously the 98 would be a good choice.
