Some of you may remember i posted a while back
about a Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson show that i was going to.
Well, it was tonight.

It was a really, really great show.
The venue was a Minor league baseball field (Yale Field) and it
was a really nice place to have the concert. Very pleasent; not
uncomfortable and jam packed like some concerts can be.

Willie Nelson went on first (after the opener) and was great. He
was playing with his sister, both his sons (who were like
fourteen), his brother, and his brothers children--which, i
thought, was really cool. They were all great.
In classic Willie Nelson style he was friendly, genuinely nice,
and put on a great show.
Probably the best song he played was 'Me and Bobby McGee'
which was great, simply because it's such a classic. It was
really fun seeing him live.

Around nine Bob Dylan came on, and he was absolutely
awesome. He played keyboard and harmonica for the entirety
of the show, and his band was incredible. He had a really
great lineup of songs, and didn't let anybody down with his
performance. It was such typical Bob Dylan: He didn't even
acknowledge the audience until the very end (when he
thanked us and introduced the band), he, and everyone in his
band, were dressed in all black, with black cowboy hats, and
his voice was rough and harsh (which i love).
It was really an awesome show. Just really,
really fantastic music.
The highlight of the show had to have been the encore. He
played 'Mr. Tamborine Man', and went straight from that into an
absolutely awesome 'All Along The Watchtower'. He then
played 'Highway 61 Revisited' (which rocked) and ended with
'Like a Rolling Stone' (which also rocked).

Really awesome show, i had a lot of fun. They're touring Minor
League fields all over the country, so if you get a chance to see
them i highly reccomend you do.
