Man I keep getting poison ivy nearly every time I play paintball.... I have gloves and long pants and shirts that I always wear when playing, but I get it when I take off the outer layers because it gets so freaking hot. Does any one know of any prevention stuff like Ivy block that works? And don't just say, "Stay away from it"....because that can be nearly impossible when paint is whizzing....

I heard of some stuff called Rhus-tox, but I think its internal and not really 'certified.'

So if anyone has any good remedies or suggestions, it would be appreciated, because , it itches! I'm on Prednisone now.....

If you got into it once, and are wearing the same clothes, it could still be coming from the clothes.

Poison Ivy poison can stay in clothes for more then 10 wash cycles.

Is there another field you can play at? Like an indoor speedball.

If you kept your skin TOTALLY covered, then you may be allergic to something.

It's at the land around my house where I usually get it, and it's definetly a lot cheaper to play here then at a field all the time...anyway I don't think I'm particularly allergic, just a lot of it around. I'm kinda lookin' for remedies or prevention type things...thanks again.

Man, I wish I could become immune heh heh....maybe I'll try eating some......

I use some stuff called ivarest to keep myself from getting it. works like a charm. just rub it on your bare skin before play and you should be set.
