Shaquille O'Neal?"

So then, what religion/denomination's God is he talking about?

Hehe... Were that an honest question, I could offer an educated guess for an answer.

But since it was a sarcastic potshot, I'll say simply that you
can't extract that specific of information from the question the
original poster asked. This isn't tea leaves, it's the real science of
human interaction.

Don't take it personally, I'm just a 16 year old who is somewhat pissed
that he had to get his long hair cut for school. I understand what
you're saying, I just think it was a bit too much of an... assumption?

Yes there is a God, and to prove it, it's a little thing called the Bible.

The Israelites were Jewish. They believed a Messiah would come from God and that is currently what Jews still are "waiting for". I've gone to a Catholic school my entire life, I've read the Bible from front to back several times. Just because I don't believe it, doesn't mean I don't know it.

Actually, that just proves oral tradition and the miracle of human communications and publishing.

What he said. Although you probably shouldn't have made this thread, as it's been done over and beaten to death a hundred times before.

At least it's not a flame-fest yet.
Is God real? You'll find out when you die.

Okay, I don't have a clever signature zinger. So sue me.

Peter, one of the 12 disciples, was the first Pope which can be proved, therefore being a disciple of Jesus(God in the form of man) who rose from the dead on easter day.

Or maybe someone was like, 'hey, wouldn't it be cool if we made Peter seem more important than he really is?' And then made up the bible.

Just a thought

I suppose Hades is awesome...

I'm quite partial to Ares and Apollo myself. Although Hephaistos is cool.

I don't read fiction.

I don't believe in god or a god. I believe in coincidences, accidents, physics, science, and energy.
