Well, i dont see how it could hurt the sport at all, nor how it would lower the amount of skill needed. It shouldnt affect the snap shooting skills needed to play such a high level of ball, the shooting would be the same, just a tad bit slower. And i dont see how it would lower the apeal for the great game that is x-ball. I watch to see people like Gator and Olie and mr lasoya play, not hear or see people shoot just a bit faster than the new cap. And the amount of paint used might decrease, but it will still be in the hudreds of thoughsands of paintballs used at an event for a team, so i dont think the paint companies should be worried about a drop of 15-20 cases a team per event, as much as that may seem.
But i can respect asking for a link, so i will too, RICO, WE NEED A LINK!!
oh, and i know that chris and Gator dont play in the NXL anymore, but i needed some names to use, and they popped up.
you're calling Rico a fool? ok then... first: miami effect was bough SP one of the gardner brothers just so that SP could have two teams in the NXL. Now why would he have them pulled out of the NXL if the sole reason he bought them was to have a team in the NXL? And if you mean infamous, well get it right, and dont call people that are smarter than you fools. Second, its not hard at all to tell the difference between 18 and 14, trust me. I could tell a deffinite difference in my impulse and viking when i started shooting 16 bps intead of 13 with my impulse. And even if it really is that hard for someone to hear, have a ref at the tournament who can actully shoot above 14 bps shoot it over a red chrono. Not to hard to do, even if you cant tell the difference between a gun with 14 and 18 bps. Third, guess how many teams are alowed to be in on division? 10. And as you(incorrectly) said, there are 9. not to big of a difference. Fourth, there are ten teams in the NXL. Legacy became the tenth a few months ago. |

all.... It would lower the amount of skill involved (shooting, snap shooting, etc.), it would actually lower the appeal for spectators....and the NXL is designed to be a spectator sport, it would make these high ends virtually useless, and, in the end, have people buying less paint. I'm with Dave all the way on this one... Shenanigans! |

COME ON PPL DONT LISTEN TO THIS FOOL do you have any proof. i think he just made it up. its supid how could you ever enforce a max of 14bps no ref could tell diff between 14 and 18 it would be way to hard and stupid. find proof then i will believe you *EDIT* and ill tell you one thing if this is true more ppl are going to leave the nxl. mimia effect already has and a few other teams might to. you do know that is only 9 teams in the nxl. Many people are HK, but there is only one Gatyr, and Gator, and both guys are pimp(sorry, but Mr. glaze is awsome). And i highly doubt that anyone playing x-ball will want to use a tippmann. The 98 is way to long, the A-5 has that huge hoper on the side, and there are othere reasons as to why the 98 and a-5 will never be used on that level, cept by TE or some tippmann sponsored team. |
