Ok so I'm computer illiterate to let you know ahead of time.

Well I have come to love the game of americas army, and as the games get more in depth, the lag becomes greater.  So as of right now, my gaming card is whatever is standard on my dell that I bought in 2003.  So i have about $75 to spend on a gaming card.  Which would be the best, and would it even make much of a difference?

Find out whether your motherboard has an AGP slot.

5200 AGP  $61.00

5200 PCI  $71.00

pci and agp different size slots.you could open your computer and look for one.

Like I said, I am computer illiterate.  I dont even know where the card goes.

Get together a little more money, and get a 9700 Pro, their around $100-$150.

you people dont read. He said he has 75 bucks to spend. If he has 75 bucks to spend what makes you think he wants to spend 100? You can get a pretty decent video card for 75 bucks anyways.

yeah, if if you want to see a bigger difference you should save up some more money and go for the higher end video cards. if you go low end then you wont see a very big difference.

HA! I used to have a voodoo, before i knew anything about computers. It couldnt even run c&c RA2 without lagging!

www.newegg.com look around there and ask My thoughts are you should save up for a 9600 pro or gt line or maybe even the 9800 pro.

Voodoo = craptacular cards. ATI has the best cards, plus all the drivers for all there cards can be easily found on there site and or the cd that comes with any video card.
