So i was wandering through my room, and found the only two paintball
magazines I have ever owned. Dates? Nov. and Dec. 2001. As I was
reading through them, I noticed many interesing things...
1) You didn't need a hinge frame double trigger whatsit to do well in tourneys. 2) 12v revvys were good enough for everyone. 3) Tournaments were still in the woods, and 'speedball' fields were known as 'concept' fields. 4) Naughty Dogs and Russian Legion were amateurs. 5) Ground Zero owned all. 6) Electros? No way sir. Cockers were the force to be reckoned with. 7) Low rise? HA! I saw 'pros' and amateurs alike using feednecks bigger than my middle finger. 8) I forget, and the magazines are too far away. But I kow it was important... Interesting to see how much of a leap the sport has take in just three years... |
