the movie sucked, me and my friends had to entertain ourselves. We sat at the back and rolled a bottle under all the seats and when people looked down it looked like dominos.

Story? Great.
Actors? Great as well, though I don't care for the Jaquin Pheonix guy (or however it's spelled, probably not his original name anyway...) Background Music? Absolutely beautiful. But the movie just wasn't done well, it was boring and nothing about it excited me. One of those movies that would be good to see, but you shouldn't waste money at the theater -- rent it. |

"The Village" previews had me fooled as well. I expected a cross between "The Crucible" and "Sleepy Hollow"... unfortunately, it was much like "The Giver" novel, which also sucked! In case nobody reads thier books on thier summer reading list, "The Giver" is about a society controlled by a group of elders where no one experiences any emotions; until one person does one thing that throws the entire system out of whack. Kinda like the movie "Equilibrium", kinda like the novel "Brave New World". |

Is it worse than signs? Take in the fact that the aliens who were allergic i guess, to water, try and take over earth which is primarily water. I dont see how something could be worse than that plot.

The ending is that the monsters were fake, the people made them up. I think the movie was a great idea, but poorly directed. Besides, the monsters looked like porcupines.

I laughed very very hard the mental person that ends up killing and being killed was my fav. at the very first after the grave scene when they are eating he stands up and starts to clap i had tears rolling down my face i laughed so hard |
