So, this subject came up in chat, and i decided to get more opinions... One additional thing, has anyone ever tried Ice Wine? It is supposed to be a very nice, very sweet desert wine...made when the grapes are frozen... Feel free to leave any comment you wish... |

i'm not a fan of french wine, i just don't feel the need to support their economy i like this one white wine from the columbia winery in Washington...it is possibly the best white ever...it has a sweeter, fruity taste, and is not dry as hell. |

Ice wine is actually really good. Alot stronger than regular wine. Somewhere between wine and vodkaa I'd say. It's really expensive though, so its more like a nice treat.
oh, and I personally prefer white wine to red. Edited by KillerCanuk |

Muscadines are in season down hear, and in 9 weeks any 10 year old kid with a brain, 5 gallon bucket, and some yeast, can have 85 grains of the sweetest, best tasting wine you could get anywhere, but don't take my word for it.

ice wine is nasty. it tastes like honey and its also prety thick stuff. the only way its good is over shaved ice or over icecream and its not between wine and vodka. the stuff i had was 14 % thats what most wine i have had is. nappa vally wine is good. yeah yeah yeah. my family drinks lots of wine and i taste alot of wine |

wow, my thread picked up...it was a late bloomer... anyway, being that i am 17, i can't legally drink(in the US), but my parents have this philosophy that if i grow up with alcohol being almost taboo, i will go out, get completely wrecked, and screw my life over...that is why i get to drink... of course, being italian and greek makes a difference...kids get to drink there at the family dinner table anyway... |
