What would happen?

Well I messed with my gun and managed to make this... I have no idea what it would do, and I haven't tested it.. As you can see in the first pic, I have it rigged so that the sear will always stay directly above the trigger... As you can see in the second picture, that is the sear when the trigger isnt pulled (almost normal - allows one shot per one trigger pull I'd guess) ... And in the third picture, you can see the sear when the trigger is held back. It allows for the rear bolt to come back and release without ever letting go of the trigger since it doesn't catch on the sear like it normally would. Now, would this shoot full auto if I held the trigger down, or would it just fire the first shot then stay forward and suck down c02? I didn't actually intend to create anything like a full-auto marker, but if it works, I'm not complaining... What do you guy think?

	^^^Edit your post, or you'll get guested. Cussing isn't allowed here. And that a nifty little trick, but it won't work. It'll be fine without paint, but you'll have a blend as soon as you put a hopper on there. That will make the gun cycle as fast as it can, way to fast for any hopper to keep up.

	i see... i wonder if there is any other way to tweak this so that it does work? if not ill just take it back out...or maybe ill just dry fire it to see it in action, even though paint wont work with it.... how fast do you think it will shoot with no balls in?

	Not really sure, but it's fast. Blow backs have the fastest cycle rates, so I'd guess 30+. BTW, the old factory F/A's had a mechanical full auto mode that worked similar, but they somehow mechanically slowed down the cycle rate so that the primitave cyclone they had on them could keep up.

	I've heard that a blowback can cycle up to 50 times per second. WAAAY too fast for any hopper to keep up with.

	ill test it tomorrow morning, i might even try to make a vid if i can ever figure out how to like digitally tape it... i have a digital video camera (with a still-shot mode which is how i got these pics) but i have no idea how to upload the video to my computer
