I would say screw the diplomatic approach for a day or two, and basicly have the nation do as I say. Here are my decrees, no bills to sign, or laws to pass, they just are what they are.

-smoking is illegal (I cant shoot someone in the face in public, but he can slowly kill me by smoking on me, ok...)

-all troops, get out of wherever you are, you aren't helping right now, lets come home.

-manditory road tests for the elderly, lets face it, some people should not have thier license anymore.

-No more stupid secret agenda's of other governments, we have the resources to stop world hunger, yet governments keep us from doing it, lets stop all that.

- Schools get the funding they need, not what is left over.

- Lower tuition


I actually think about this stuff sometimes, and I know I have other decrees, but I can't remember them.... I guess I will update if I remember.

 I would fix the voting system. No more hanging chads! If we can make ATM's machine with a secure electronic Tallie & a paper trail. I am confident we can make a better voting machine.

 I would also make sure the the people who protect us are well supplied and informed what to do in case of a dirty bomb or other Bio-attacks. The way it is now the police have cut backs fireman are understaffed and most are  volunteers. I have a friend who is a volunteer fireman they don't have enough equipment or knowledgeable people. 

 I would station our military at our Us borders every container would be checked for drugs or other terrorist threats.

Our schools need funding.

Tax breaks for people who buy USA made products. The more we make in the USA the lower the cost for all. Lets put the pride back into the USA.

We have to investigate the way DR.,hospital,prescription drug makers and Ins. Co. are robbing us. If you have ins. the bill is much higher plus not only are you paying the monthly Ins. bill you have to pay co-pay. The bill is much lower when you have no ins. I ask why and they said they have to bill the ins. Co. They put all the bills in one monthly billing to only the few Ins. co they will accept. They also have more loopholes why they won't pay. And you still get stuck with a huge bill. And then they say well if all the people would pay their bill it would be lower.

And also shut the FCC DOWN! Oh, and raise min. wage to $6.15.... Also lower the Social Security age... And allow prescription drugs to be purchased from Canada...   Excellent.
