I play a flatline barrel on my m98 custom. Most of the time, it gives me lots of trouble, so i was looking to get another barrel that performs the same as the flatline. I was thinking of the Lapco Bigshot or a J&J ceramic <both 14">. If anyone has any experience with these barrels, please help me out.

Thanks,

There IS NO barrel that performs like the flatline.  I suggest practice taking it apart and tuning it in your back yard and see if you can't fit the pieces better.  Your paint choice might be killing your accuracy too.  what paint do you use?
blame it on the irish....

Why woudl he do that he palys woodsball. Nothing well perform the same as the flatline in distnace. but the Bigshot is a really great barrel. i would look into that or the J&J whic is also a great barrel.

Hey. I use Rp Slams with my flatline. Really right now, the flatline is shooting a lot higher that where i am aiming. But i was just looking at another barrel that would act as a back up for when i wanted to change out. I want a barrel, other than the flatline, that is great for woods ball. I want it to have great distance, and be extremely accurate around 100+.

So you are looking for a backup?  SP teardrop by far.  If it shoots high then the tragectory[sp?] is flat the rest of the time though, right?  I'd say its more of a problem not being used enough to get comfortable with.  remember there is backspin and the motion will carry the ball upward slightly coming out of the barrel.  Just practice in an area where you can see the ball for a long time and can judge the vertical movement.  All Stars should work perfectly, but marbs will work even better if they aint too much $$.

both bigshot and ceramic are great barrels. no matter which one you get you will be satisfied. you wont notice a big difference between the two.
