I would recommend getting a female on/off valve, rather than getting one installed. Mainly because, if you ever need to put another tank on for any reason, your on/off would always be there, rather than only being on one tank.

How much extra is an On/Off? If it's a bunch more moeny, is it really worth it? Just think of how useful turning your tank on and off would be... or is it useful? I suppose you could take the tank off easier... but you'd still have to de-gas the gun...
Your call! |

Well, yes, but it takes the guess work out of how far to turn the tank before degassing it.
For the female on/off valve, it cost about $10-15. Well worth it to be able to take off any tank with ease. |

dont get a on/off for a tank. If u get one get one that goes on your gun. Like one on a drop forward or somethin like that. My friend had one that went on his gun, and it was really bad. He would lose alot of co2 when he turned it off.

The size of tank is YOUR preference... I personally have the 16oz. "stubby" version & not because of the lighter weight but also I can maneuver quickly with it. Plus I added a 45ci Dye Rhino cover. But then again, if you add a drop forward, a 20oz. tank would probably a better suggestion. Oh yea..If you are going to get the on/off valve...IMO get SMART PARTS...nothing else.. Edited by <Ridd |
