Actually, a remote line will act as an expansion chamber. Contrary to popular opinion I find them in the way, and a little short. Also it makes it difficult to switch hands while playing.

If you play woods ball they can be very helpful some will tell you that they get tangled but I have never seen one tangled in brush or anything. Remotes make it easier to climb and crawl and frolic in the daiseys! If you play speedball then you will need that space where your tank is, for pods.
woods=remote speed=pods
figure out what you play most and then decide

remotes are ok if u wanna woodsball, but if u speedball any, it gets in the way and makes it hard to switch hands when you shoot, and trust me, you wanna be able to switch hands in speedball. on the other hand i hear that a remote balances out the A5 pretty nicely, but im not sure.

I like drop forwards more because you don't have all this weight on your
back. And I find that when I lean back, the tank hits my back and it really
hurts (XD, I got a bruise once). I like drops because it balances it out
instead of being a pain in the back. I would say get a drop with an on/off
valve no matter what you will be playing, they're good whenever you play
paintball in every kind of game. Have fun!
