Topic: looking to play some speedball!Posted: 31 May 2004 at 4:38pm |

Hey i am really hooked on speedball now and i want a gun that can keep up with the other guns on the field. At my field there are always impulses and WGP autocockers so i want something that will keep up with those guns but that are a decent price.

you dont need a high end gun to keep up...remember it only takes one shot to get someone out...but if you want a faster marker i would get an a-5 if i were you

The A-5 only shoots 4bps more than the 98c, not that much faster

umm they shoot about 15 bps....i know they arent that fast but i would rather have and a-5 than a highend marker that shoots like a ridiculous amount of bps |

You can get impulse's for $400 and then you need a revy and a HPA or a anti-siphon tank($35) and you will be good to go. |

your setup seems fine as it is....I play with my 98c on a private speedball feild vs. R/T's, shockers, cockers, and mags and dont have a problem.....if you try that sticky at the top of the U&C page about sear spring mods, that really helps. I did it last night and now the trigger pull (when cocked and ready) feels less than a keystroke.....

let me guess....you saw the 30bps in the title and almost wet yourself.....it was said before....only one shot is needed to take someone out.....if someone ducks behind a bunker when you shoot at them, shooting 20+ bps isnt gonna magically tag them out....but whatever.....I'm gonna try to make this my last post in this thread, so do whatever you want....but I'd keep the custom |

I'd keep the custom and if you want to shoot faster save up for a http://www.ballisticsports.com E-Bolt. They're easier to adjust than the tippmanns (in my opinion).
